If we spray for them, we eliminate a vital partner in our environment and negatively impact all kinds of beneficial insects. In effect, we shoot ourselves in the foot.
As good stewards, we know that there is a balance that we are responsible for trying to maintain, but ultimately it is God’s plan in all things, that we can’t supercede. As in the ‘locust plague’ of Egypt, even though it was for the detriment of the Egyptians, it was for the benefit of the Israelites. He was the one in control.
Other places, such as Eastern Montana and the Dakota’s, are experiencing a drought, which is also part of our ecosystem. However hard that may be, it is ultimately part of God’s plan.
As humans, we are more apt to miss the big picture because we are stuck down here on ground level.
